About the drawing: This is my second portrait drawing.  I used a random photograph that I found online. I liked the look of the headscarf and I was thinking of making this stand out. Therefor I chose to color it, while making the rest of the drawing B&W.  I wasn't sure what to do with the background. First I tried to color this with my Derwent colored pencils, but I really didn't like the look of that. Therefore I decided to make it completely dark with a black ink brush. 

Materials: I used graphite pencils (HB - 8B) and charcoal for the girl and colored pencils for the headscarf. For the headscarf I used Derwent colorsoft pencils. For the background I used an ink brush.
